Kris Johnson is an American TV personality and English instructor based in South Korea. He was enrolled in the United States Military Academy before transferring to the University of California at Davis where he obtained a bachelor's degree in History. He grew up in a wealthy neighborhood in California and always admired the military life. However, when he entered the U.S. Military he felt his cheerful personality did not match with the strict life of a soldier so he decided to history instead. He moved to South Korea after college to work as an English teacher in several networks. He made his TV debut in 2014 when he appeared in a commercial for KT Olleh LTE and he is often seen in variety shows that involve foreigners. He host a radio show and also a few English-content shows at EBS.
